Orlando, Fla. — Wakeboarding magazine will bring its pages to life this summer with Wake House, a fantasy experience that will combine professional instruction with the ultimate in wakeboarding lifestyle.

Wake House guests will spend a week at a million-dollar lakefront home in the wakeboarding mecca of Orlando, Florida, where they will receive daily professional instruction, demo the latest and greatest gear from wake’s top brands, interact with some of the sport’s best riders and gain access to wakeboarding landmarks like the Orlando Watersports Complex.

Ronix Booth - Surf Expo 2007

Reed HansenAfter wading through countless boats, beautiful booth babes, and crazy salesmen trying to tell me why their product was best, I found the Ronix booth. The booth had none of these things. Hell, the booth didn’t have a single board, binding, or salesperson in sight. Ronix was represented by a basic tent that you could find at a simple neighborhood picnic. After talking with team rider Reed Hansen, we got the details on the whole ordeal.

Gravel Tour Stop #4 this weekend

Gravel TourThe 4th stop of “The Nation’s Biggest Grassroots Wakeboard Tour” (according to Performance) is coming up this weekend. The Gravel Tour features divisions for all skill sets including Novice, Grom, Boys, Girls, Intermediate, Womens, Advanced and Outlaw. The event will be held at Orlando Watersports Complex in Orlando, FL. Registration is now open. This is the last event on the tour before the September 22nd finale.
