So, we [we - meaning...Kyle] are heading to the Dew Rail Jam tonight at Amway Arena in Orlando, FL. We got media permission to video and photograph the event. Hopefully, we’ll [once again, just Kyle] get some cool slow-mo footage with our HVX200 camera. I’m still not sure how Kyle is going to shoot video footage of the event, organize and shoot interviews, take pictures, and dump memory cards onto his laptop when they fill all at one time. It should be interesting. I’d help out, but I’m on girlfriend birthday duty….yikes. So, we should have something for you on here in the next couple of days. Keep checking back. The cake is not a lie. OK, if you already know about RSS Feeds then you can move on to the next story. For the rest of you that are still reading this, I am going to possibly change the way you browse the internet forever. I am talking about RSS Feeds. You’ve probably heard of RSS or have seen the orange logo over there on the right on another website. UGP further solidifies itself in the wake market with yet another strong lineup of soft goods, shoes and accessories that are meant to get wet, not dirty. The cutting-edge clothing company has always had it’s roots planted deep into the BMX community, but it is nice to see that their wake line is just as comfortable, stylish, and innovative.

After wading through countless boats, beautiful booth babes, and crazy salesmen trying to tell me why their product was best, I found the Ronix booth. The booth had none of these things. Hell, the booth didn’t have a single board, binding, or salesperson in sight. Ronix was represented by a basic tent that you could find at a simple neighborhood picnic. After talking with team rider Reed Hansen, we got the details on the whole ordeal.

It sounds like they are licensing it out to a company with more than 20 years of experience who has even handled some big brands like Rusty. Same ole’ booth, tons of new product. Despite impressing patrons with a flashy new booth Hyperlite decided to stick with the same booth from last year and relied on impressing them with three new board series and completely redesigned bindings for the 2007 surf expo.

Vests, vests and more vests! Oh wait, and some ropes and handles too. The Helium Booth gave surf expo the impression that they only want a piece of the vest market with wall to wall coverage and a broad selection of Mens and Womens vests made of different materials and styles.

The good thing about starting from scratch as a wake only boat company is you don’t have to satisfy both skiers and wakeboarders or you aren’t just altering or adding on to boats that were ideal for skiing to keep up with the growing demand for wakeboard specific boats. Epic Boats has definitely designed their line specific to the needs of riders everywhere from the birth of the company in 2002. With that said, lets check out the most innovative boat feature in the industry in our book for 2008 taking a back seat but making a loud statement on Epic’s 23V.
