Titan introduces their innovative bimini - without pictures?

So Titan has announced their “over-the-top” bimini for their Titan-branded wakeboard boat towers.  The concept seems great, since it allows boat passengers to move back and forth around the boat without having to duck down under the bimini due to decreased head space.  BUT, with the good comes bad…  First off, the higher the bimini, usually the less amount of shade it provides.  Not to mention, what is this thing going to look like?  Am I going to be riding around with a “wart” of a bimini cover of a boat, or is this thing going to look the part?  Since I found no pictures in the press release [which I was reading on wakeboarder.com], I set out to the titan website [titanwake.com] to gawk at the new product.  Of course, I wasn’t able to find any mention of it.  So, my concerns go unanswered.  Funny, when you make a press release about a new product that based purely on new cosmetics, you’d thing you would have a photo or two, huh? If someone from Titan wants to submit some pictures of this sucker, we’ll be more than happy to post them.

UPDATE - Titan sent us some pics!

  1. Hey guys, thanks for the post about our new Over-The-Top bimini for Malibu boats. We did send out images with the press release, although not all of our media partners chose to publish them. Let me know which email address to use and I’ll make sure you get copies of the pictures we released.

Because the OTB is a private label product we build for Malibu, we don’t list it on our website, but anyone that is interested can always contact their local Malibu dealer, or contact Titan directly for more information.

We worked hard on the design of this bimini to make sure that it offered plenty of shade in the boat, so even though it is mounted higher on the tower, it should be plenty functional. Also, while looks are mostly personal opinion, the OTB lives up to Titan’s reputation for crafting functional products that also look great.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and thanks again for covering this product release.

  2. Thanks for the pics. We’ve added another story…
