Pro-Am Wakeboard Championships to Air on Fuel TV
CANCUN, Mexico — Fuel TV is set to air the 2007 Tigé Pro-Am Wakeboard Championships, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink, on Monday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time.
The Pro-Am Championships, held in Cancun, Mexico, will feature the world’s best professional and amateur wakeboarders and wakeskaters. Riders will vie for the Pro-Am title by performing rail tricks and aerial stunts while maneuvering on the water at a speed of approximately 30 mph.
Tune in to Fuel TV to see if two-time Pro-Am champion Rusty Malinoski can defend his title and win his third straight championship, or if Phillip Soven will wrap up the 2007 King of Wake season with his seventh victory of the series.
Emily Copeland-Durham is looking to retain her title in the Women’s Division, but Dallas Friday just might have what it takes to stop the 2005 world champion dead in the water by taking home the Pro-Am win.
Current world champion wakeskater Reed Hansen enters the Pro-Am Championships with confidence after claiming the 2007 national and world titles, but Nick Taylor could have the experience to edge Hansen, as the 2006 Alliance Rookie of the Year looks to retain his Pro-Am Championship title.
Also be sure to check out all the amateur division action, including the Latin American Division, presented by Reef.
