Correct Craft adds CEO Blog
Correct Craft looks to “revolutionize” the wake industry with the first ever CEO blog. I’m not sure if this is really a revolution or just an evolution. Eventually you figured the blogging world, which has been exploding in every other industry, would eventually trickle into wake. Of course, DailyWake is a blog, but I guess manufacturer blogsites are still somewhat rare.
Unfortunately Correct Craft is running a 2002 blog site in the year 2007. Instead of RSS feeds, you have an email signup list that notifies you of updates. Instead of being able to leave comments or questions on the story, you can send an email to Correct Craft about the story. Maybe this is no big deal, but “bloggers” and people accustom to reading blogs, treasure these features. Either way, kudos to CC for getting this new feature up and running, and I hope the blogging phenomenon creeps into several other manufacturer’s websites.

I wish more companies would offer this kind of insight from their upper management. That kind of transparency goes a long way for consumers and makes the company feel more connected to the industry (something Correct Craft could definitely benefit from IMHO).
Another company that does an incredible job with this is Tesla Motors (www.teslamotors.com/blogs.php). It’s given them a ton of free marketing.

Its sad to say that Correct Craft not only has had its best people making their boats, some with 25 years in the company, quit because of bad blood in the company, even their family owners have left the co. They even had a layoff that they did not even tell their Foreman’s of it coming. Firing drivers after they lie to them about no work for them, as outside trucks pull their loads, shame on them. The family company turns cold on the employees
