Ronix Booth – Surf Expo 2007
After wading through countless boats, beautiful booth babes, and crazy salesmen trying to tell me why their product was best, I found the Ronix booth. The booth had none of these things. Hell, the booth didn’t have a single board, binding, or salesperson in sight. Ronix was represented by a basic tent that you could find at a simple neighborhood picnic. After talking with team rider Reed Hansen, we got the details on the whole ordeal.

Reed told us that Ronix decided to show off their product-line over on the other side of Orlando at the Orlando Watersports Complex. Whether it was to make a statement, or just a simple way to avoid the Surf Expo hoopla, we’ll never know. Reed explains his thoughts in the video below.

I was a little disappointed that Ronix didn’t have a real booth at Expo. After doing all of those interviews with everyone, we were worn out, and didn’t feel like making the trip to OWC to cover their products as well. Oh well, sorry everyone.
