It’s great to see industry figures in something other than than their wakeboard attire every once in a while.

We were just tipped off that the guys behind BoardersMall.com, just released a new site BoardersBestBuy.com. Apparently the site is supposed to have a “smokin” [hey, they said it, not us] new deal every day, or until quantities run out on their smokin item.
Currently on the hot plate is the Liquid Force Watson 138 wakeboard. We hear this board is a smokin good time [sorry, couldn't resist]. Anyways, we’ll keep you up to date with all of the steaming [see we can improvise] deals over there at BoardersBestBuy.

For all you wake slash sneaker junkies there is a cool piece of editorial on a website called hypebeast that has interviews with the artists and designers that create these special edition shoes that send tingles down your spines and your bank accounts plummeting. Find out their backgrounds, motivation and see the faces behind these works of art that are released in limited runs and finally make there ways into the hands of collectors.
You will probably see more posts by us from hypebeast in the future. This is a great resource to find the latest on anything limited in the underground fashion world. This site could help you to be the first (and most of the time only) one wearing that limited edition whatever in your clique of friends in the near future.

Get the skinny on the party to kick off Halloween and the issue. Dress up is required and a lot of the pros from both wakeboard and wakeskate will be there to support Scott Byerly’s project.

On Friday, October 19th the AST Dew Tour Wakeboard Rail Jam made its appearance on the backside parking lot of the Amway Arena (Home of the Magic) in Orlando, Florida. Squeezed in between FMX, BMX Dirt and Skateboard Vert were two very large portable pools making up a step down miniature rail park for ten professional wakeboarders to exploit their skills to a very curious crowd.
