It seems that very prominent skate and snow brands are finally getting the picture when it comes to recognizing the growth of the wake industry. Bern Helmets is yet another helmet company looking for a piece of our pie. Bern is know for their stylish designs and has taken some of their best selling snow and skate helmets and adapted them to water application.

Chad Sharpe, the recent winner of wake trick of the year at WBM’s 2007 Wake Awards, is backing the product so they are sure to make an impression in wake with the ever growing popularity of rails, parking lot rail jams and rail only contests. Bern has also collaborated with Hyperlite in the past on helmets and has brought some cool technology to riders to help them ride more safe and comfortable. Bern was gracious enough to give DailyWake.com a sample to put through the tortures of everyday wake use so stay tuned for a possible review in the future.
